John Walters BA,LLB-PRINCIPAL

John is the founding partner of Walters Law. He specialises in property and general commercial, corporate and business law. John acts for a wide range of clients including small and large corporates and businesses advising on and transacting commercial, property and business acquisitions, developments, sales, joint ventures and general commercial and corporate deals, including the structuring and re-structuring of commercial and corporate organisations. He also acts for individual clients, providing a general legal service to meet their personal needs including conveyancing, wills, trusts, estate planning and asset protection.

John is a director on the boards of Aotearoa Credit Union, Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences Limited, and Te Rau Matatini Limited. He is also a former director of solid Energy New Zealand Limited, a former director of the Auckland Hospital Board, a former elected member of the Auckland District Law Society, and Former Treaty Settlements negotiator for his iwi, Te Aupōuri.
